After 2 years' of Covid restrictions, it was possible to have events on the site again.

There was a Surprise performance on the day before the scheduled events.

The "Spontaneous Session" flute & cello concert was performed by twins from Spain. They selected the site to say, à bien tôt', as it would be the first time the two would be apart.

DEBBIE DANBROOK
"RENEWAL"

The two scheduled events, which were on the following day began with a return of Debbie Danbrook on Shakuhachi flute, with Wendy Morel's 'Sacred Dance Guild'. Debbie & Wendy performed numerous times for more than 10 years.

ZOLA MOLOTOV
"SMYRNA"

Following the "RENEWAL" performance, Fire Dancer, Zola Molotov (Zoe Georgaras) with Kosta Georgaras and Dimitri Georgaras have performed on site since 2014.

This season they presented a dramatic performance combining Fire Dance and traditional Greek music to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Great Fires of Smyrna*.

In 1922, the port city of Smyrna on the Aegean coast of Asia Minor was set alight by arsonists. In a matter of days, most of the city burned to the ground.Izmir is the name of the Turkish city today.
