This collection is about Story telling,

These paintings reflect upon emapthy and not sympathy, enduring pain, and not succubing to challenge, and creating a fortitude to enduure and adapt.

 

The '311' Tōhoku Japan eartquake influenced many of these paintings. 

The disater of a 9.1 eathquake & tsunamis, plus the nuclear power disaster that followed, was too strong an experience for it to not become integrated into the emotions of paintings.
