2011-2013 “Natural Acts & Adaptations”

 

This is the beginning of a fresh approach to painting. The paontings began to become more focused on Story telling.
Theseis collection has an edginess and emtional detachment from the truth to do them.

These paintings reflect upon emapthy and not sympathy, enduring pain, and not succubing to challenge, with energy creates a fortitude to enduure and adapt.

The 9.1 Tōhoku Japan eartquake influenced the dynamic energy in many of these paintings.
