"One Man's Quest for Balance"
Indigenous Peoples across Canada have their own creation belief that has been told in the form of a story handed down by their ancestors. In Ojibwe oral traditions, the story of Turtle Island begins with a flooded Earth. The Creator had cleansed the world of feuding peoples in order to begin life anew. The turtle survived the flood, and with earth on its' back, the wind blew a tiny piece of earth from the turtle's back, and began to grow. It grew until it formed an island in the water, known as "Turtle Island." To purchase, please contact John @ ceprano@earthlink.net thank you
