Rhizomatic Collective Unconscious Dreamcatcher _ From the Soul

Claire Elizabeth Barratt (Cilla Vee Life Arts) & The Sacred Dance Guild of Ottawa.

The "Rhizomatic Collective Unconscious Dreamcatcher" is a sculptural installation and performance that draws on traditions of weaving and the Native American dreamcatcher to express recurring forms in nature of the mycorrhizal fungi under the forest floor and the neural networks of the human brain – and how our collective unconscious plays out in archetypal symbols, myths and dreams.

Claire Elizabeth Barratt (artist moniker CillaVee) is a British interdisciplinary performing artist based in the USA. She is the director of international arts organization Cilla Vee Life Arts, established Bronx NY 2002 and runs The Center for Connection + Collaboration from her home in Asheville, NC. Claire has presented work through organizations such as Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Bronx Council on the Arts, Black Mountain College Museum + Art Center and Art Basel Miami – as well as continuing as a member and facilitator with the international Sacred Dance Guild since 1997.

The Sacred Dance Guild is a spiritually diverse, international, non-profit organization with a commitment to advocate for dance as a sacred art and to promote dance as a means of spiritual growth and integration of mind, body and spirit.
