2024 The Reconfiguration of Space

The Reconfiguration of Space is about the form of space created by the placement of each rock and sculpture.

The form of space is a sculpture made of air and water, filled with mass, which appears empty, but is filled with energy.

E=MC² establishes that energy and mass are interchangeable. Space has both energy and mass, thus the 'Reconfigured Space' becomes a sculpted form.

The river which flows around and through each sculpture creates a 'fluttering' of space with the reflections and shadows created by the sun’s position. 

 

Focusing on the composition of the installation’s space allowed a view from any position and provide a balanced and uncluttered composition of space and form.
