"Falcon Wings over Turtle Island" 

The foundation was installed in May 2024, with rocks sourced from the Wesley Clover Park in Ottawa, Ontario.

 
Beginning in September 2024, the vertical rocks were cut, drilled, and installed, followed by carving of the four 'spirit animals: duck, owl, fox and frog, each animal identifies the age group of children attending the school and day care centre.

The two vertical rocks refer to 'Falcon Wings' rising over 'Turtle Island' as the earth is being created.
 
Among First Nations, the Turtle rises out of the sea, with land on it's back, creating the earth.

The Falcon is a messenger from the spirit world and represents clarity, intuition, and keen insight.

The installation is made with granite, limestone and sandstone, and measures between 25 feet/7.6 meters and 35 feet/ 10.6 meters in diameter. 
The vertical rocks measure 5 feet/ 1.5 meters in height.
