THE ANCIENT MARINER'S WEDDING

The 2005 project was inspired by Samuel Coleridge' epic poem "Rime of the Ancient Mariner". The dry summer added to the concept, and the fall was a rapidly rising river, washing "The Mariner" away. 

Nohra Corredor, founder and currator of ECOLOGICAL ART, currated an on-line production in 2006, titled "The Wedding Dance".
In early August, Claire Elizabeth Barrett & Natasha Royka performed "From the Soul", a dance which integrated with the project remakably well and without rehersal.
I approached Nohra with the project & dance performance images as a potential publication for the Ecological Art website.
Nohra provided a stunning production, "The Wedding Dance", which was nominated for "Best of the Web Awards in 2006".
